About
The NIHR Global Health Research Group on Patient-centred sickle cell disease management in sub-Saharan Africa (PACTS) is a research collaboration between Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine,
UK, University of Abuja, University of Zambia, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Syracuse University, and Imperial College London. It is led by Professor Imelda Bates from LSTM and Professor Obiageli Nnodu from the University of Abuja.

Mission
PACTS Africa is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of SCD patients in SSA. We are committed to implementing evidence-based clinical interventions and improving the detection of SCD in a patient-centered approach to enhance wellbeing and health outcomes.
